SEOUL (Reuters) – South Korea’s Samsung (KS:005930) SDI said on Wednesday it has signed an agreement with General Motors (NYSE:GM) for its joint electric vehicle (EV) battery factory in the United States.
Samsung SDI said in a regulatory filing the investment size for the joint factory stands at 2.29 trillion won ($1.73 billion).
